I don't think there is that mutch differn't with the old harry except it's an multi norm CB and it has the posibility to ad an up and down mike.
An freind of mine had the old harry he liked it.
I'm happy to see the radio works for you. I had an CEPT version. Everything was wrong with mine except it recieved and transmitted alright. But i don't by an radio with options to do what an cheaper cb could have done. So i returned after having it fixed by the shop and comming back with more...
Hi Stu as far as i know the E40 is the CEPT version of the radio. The newer version 48+ Multi has the option to switch between different land modes like UK, CEPT, DE, EU
It's an older albrecht radio. My sponsor thinks it made by preisident byt they ain't sure.
I checkt with SY telecom but they have no model listed on there website that looks the same.
As far as i no most Albrecht radios are build bij SY telecom and not by Maycom
It's an Albrecht AE 6080. I juswt bougt an second hand export version (240 channels 4W AM/FM) but it has some defects and i can't find anyone in The Netherlands or GErmany who has serverced this radios. Mine doesn't respond to the buttons like they should and the S-mter always gives full load...
better late then never!
QRN And Northstar I think it is the other way around Dragon (or SY Telecom used to be Seung Young) makes the Albrecht radios.
