Thanks, but it doesn't take being a master. Just get the pieces and screw them together. I was going to do a simpler crappie fishing pole/aluminum tube vertical dipole, but broke my last fishing pole too short. I've repaired it, but don't need it now.

I did. The antenna is shot inside. No where is resonant. I figured it out. It's a Tram 1498 1/2ʎ 11 meter antenna.

As you may know, I spent most of my time making antennas, and those few I've store bought were the old standards, A99, Imax, Sirius GP2745, Astroplane, etc. I have one in possession that looks very similar to the A99, tuning rings, three sections 18.5' long, AND has an adjustable length...
