Traffic seem to be bigger, because of good propagation. But CB is dying. Slowly and boringly. In Poland I can listen road channel for days, almost all the time quiet. No cars with antennas, nor on homes. Mike- sp5it

Conductive objects, especially big ones affect antenna, usually bad way. Vertical, horizontal. Skew antenna pattern, affect gain, resonance freq and so on. 2 λ is considered as safe distance. M- sp5it
