If you were sent the larger combiner with 2 resistors, you can use that in the 500. I've been running a 667 with that combiner in it since I bought it in 1996 with zero issues.
There is no PDF for the 962e, but I did find one for the D model. I'm not sure how different they are.
You can download specific manuals, so I'm not sure why you were having issues doing so.
Click on the MFJ products folder, MFJ-9 products folder, then go to page 2 to find the 962D. You can...
The Anytone looks to be 12 bands + WX and a H/L power setting.
What I'm happy to see (if it's actually a true representation) is the red LEDs. I'm sick and tired of blue radios. They are just harsh on the eyes in the dark.
This should help. I don't know which stand you are using.

I actually ran into a group of officers using the CB for some sort of sting operation once. I was pulling into my friends apartment complex and my static disappeared as the vehicle in front of me stopped. I was boxed in between 2 cars and I found the channel they were on as one said "no, that's...
The way I have done it is to get a potentiometer the same value as the one on the board, remove the factory one and then run three wires to the board. Never had an issue doing it like that.
This is for the Grant LT, but should suffice for what you need.

I would try changing the value of R197 and see where that gets you. It's a 10k ohm resistor hanging out by R244 and TR39.
If that's the one then you can just wire in a variable, or just change the value to something more suitable.
I have been thinking about it for a couple of years, it just came to the front because he stopped by. I need to do a bunch of research before I jump in head first.
I recently moved into a new construction house and I am considering having solar panels installed. I am wondering if there is anything that I need to be concerned about with regards to interference either from the inverters on the panels, or from my transmitted signal to the panels/inverters?
I...
Exactly. I had an issue with my 2950DX about 12 months after I bought it where it intermittently wouldn't transmit on SSB. I ended up ending it to Rolling Radios and he took care of it for me. This surface mount stuff is for the birds. I think it was just a bad solder joint.
I have been enjoying...
That's very curious to me. I've done a number of 148/Grant/2000 calrifiers and the only one I had this issue with was the 2000 (2-3kc) because it had a crystal channel kit in it. When I removed the kit and jumped the PLL the slide jumped up to 10kc each direction.
