Using the Cobra 2000 GTL Schematic how is the transmit side not able to change before unlocking the Clarifier? After unlocking what has changed in that allows it to change the transmit frequency. Just curious. Thanks Mike 35 Delta 357

I have a Cobra 2000 GTL that the Clarifier is not unlocked. I was reading on here where the Cobra 148 has a mod that does not extend the slide range it only unlocks the Clarifier it was posted by Nomad. Is there a way to unlock the Cobra 2000 GTL and keep stock Clarifier range? Thanks Mike 35...

This is a Phillipines radio, they took that out to put a channel switch with three xtals on it wired to original xtal. I want to do away with that mod on the front just restore it get looking better the top and bottom covers look like crap, etc Thanks

Our local tech at the time put this kit together soldered all parts and then installed
