Anytime I turned the dead key up past a 200 watt my swr would go from 1.2 steady to bouncing erratically all the way to 3. Some research pointed me toward a bad connection on my coax or arching...
Considering building a 5/8 wave ground plane for my base. If using a gamma match to feed a ground plane antenna would the radials and verticals be electrically common?
Anyone know much about a Sark 100? I have one that shows a output frequency 40.010 when it is actually 27.205. If anyone knows how to correct this I’d like to know.
Some analyzers require 1/2 wavelength coax jumpers to display accurate results. So I’d like opinions around using solely 1/2 wavelength jumpers between meters,amps,drivers and radio. 1/2 wavelength multiples to antenna feed. Wouldn’t that insure your equipment will display more accurate readings...
