I lucked into a find last week on a good Turner +3 with a Tweety Bird installed in it. Arrived today. Came with a very decent Factory Box with original cardboard protective insert, spec sheet and warranty card. Keeping the mic but care nothing about storing the box. Box isn't mint or prefect but...

Here's the next mic I'm parting with this week. I have too many mics and plenty of others to talk on. D104 Silver K Eagle with the roger beeps. When I got it the MC320 crystal element was no good so I put my last Astatic 576 Style Ceramic Cartridge in it. This is the same Ceramic Cart. they put...

Hi guys, couldn't do the meet yesterday but did today. Have the Turner Mic(s). Turned out to be a guy I knew and used to talk to on the local channels when I lived closer to him in another town. His brother used to own a CB shop of some sort and passed away so the guy inherited some of his...

Just seeing this today. From Radtel - Iradio UV-98 Plus. Have skimmed some manuals and spec sheets on different sites. Wide Band. RX down into LW, has HF Segment 18-32mhz. Rx further up to 1Ghz. Is a 10 watter. TRANSMITS on AM & SSB at least in the 18-32meg portion. Seen this info while browsing...

Heh ..... gonna lay my gripe here because I'd get snarked off the edge of the world on qrz :p 6 has been open good the last few weeks and I love making contacts and talking to the peeps on this band that's only open for a number of weeks the whole year. June ARRL VHF Contest I get contesting...

Ya it's legal but - they are excluding Generals from being able to make contacts with them artificially shortening their potential scores. I don't get it. Examples: Field Day, State QSO Party's, POTA, SOTA

I recently wanted to upgrade my 1/2 wave vertical to a 5/8. Have had the Imax in the past and wanted to go that way again. I like the simple easy-assemble and easy-up stick with the nearly negligible wind resistance. Part 1 So it arrives quickly. Is the new MAX2000 with the extra "Optimizer"...

Located in Franklin, NC. Never seen one

Hi guys, Could use some pointers. Rig uses 4 pills, likely 2290 equivalents. Examined RF Deck. Heated rig up with 50W keydown. All 4 pills heating up about the same checked with infrared thermometer. Normal: AM will key 150W swing to 400. SSB/400 (did not run wide open ever - usually key at 80...

Anybody have one of these or similar you're not using and want to sell?

Have new setup here. Different radio for more power - Untimely demise of antenna due to water incursion and corrosion in the guts so new antenna as well. Everything seemed basically okay but experienced a bit higher SWR in places and varying power levels than expected. Was fixed with the last...

So after 5 years of being beaten around by storms etc ..... my Sigma Venom from the guys in England developed an SWR. Limping along with it for now until replacement arrives as I have a tuner which is making the match fine and protecting the radio. Happy with the Venom otherwise so I was going...

I am helping a local friend out who is having medical issues and selling some things to raise money. I will be getting a NIB never hooked up RCI 2970Dx N4. This is the 450 Watts+ one that sells for $800 everywhere. Has the uninstalled E Chip in the accessories bag. Will offer it up here and to...
