    Shunt fed tower with Steppir

    Has anyone shunt fed their tower with a Steppir antenna on top. I am thinking about doing it but I am concerned that there is not enough metal in the antenna for effective top hat loading. Any insight?

    Bad AM/SSB switch on Skipper 300

    Anyone have an idea on what could be the problem on my Palomar Skipper 300 AM/SSB switch. The AM position works fine, however when switched to SSB it doesn't work. Thanks for any insight Ed
