Switch was fine. Turned out to be a faulty, cheap fuse that fell apart, but was still allowing only 2.3 volts to pass through. Ahhh...it's the little things that'll get ya.
Thanks guys for all the advice.
That's what I was thinking. I'll know more when I can make it over there and take a look at it. I'm no "amp tech", but maybe I could spot something obvious.
A buddy of mine said that his Fat Boy 4 pill (not biased) died. He wasn't transmitting when it happened. He said "I flipped it on, nature called, and when I got back the led was off. Now the led just flickers and goes out when it's powered on and the fan doesn't come on." He said there wasn't...
The only other radios that I had at the time was a Galaxy 959 and a 73V. Both read SWR input at over 4.0. I replaced the Carl Built with a 307 Built biased 4 pill and never looked back.
I had a 400 HD from Carl built about 3 months ago that wouldn't key up with the Stryker 955 because of a high input SWR. No matter what the radio ----> amp coax length was, my radio would angrily beep and refuse to key up. Called Carl and back it went without any hassle. Maybe the amp was a...

Yep. Same here. I told Mr. Scott that he needed to put a disclosure stating that the control knob doesn't line up properly. He did, in fact, add that to the website, but my money had already been spent. IF I had known ahead of time, I probably wouldn't have bought them.
He will send you a...
Been looking for some black knobs for the Stryker 955. I did see some at Scott's Radios, but they were out of stock.
Has anyone seen these anywhere else?

There are about 58 settings in the engineer's menu setup. Only 7 or so are ever adjusted/tweaked by the user. There isn't a single reference to Noise Reduction, other than what is in the user's setup menu....and that's either on or off.
Shawn answered my inquiry and said, "I'll see where they are with the firmware upgrade. I haven't forgotten about this or you, so it's not something that was tossed to the side."
