    I can fully agree! If it's not the latest version of a smartphone, (which yes I do use and appreciate) they don't want anything to do with a hobby like this. I'm 43 here, and I've had the interest in this stuiff since I before I was legal to drive, and I will never give up the desire for this...

    Redbeard190, I can say the same results came out with me on this one. With 20 watts SSB swing in, I get around 100-120 watts out, which is satisfactory to me considering...but yes the SWR is horrible while on...1.6-1.8'ish.

Mine is this way (pic below), of course with the radials off of the Maco, and I do get good results, but however, to me in theory, it seems as if one would be somewhat sharing/stealing the power of the other one in TX, and possibly even in RX...
