11 meter is very quiet?

I heard WD coming back to me (or some other 357?) then he faded out. Really quiet here now.
If yesterday , That might have been me ! Out & about mobile . I was trying DX but no comebacks . But I use 357Magnum Mobile RI The Mini State . I've talked w/ The Witch Dr many times but I didn't hear him yesterday . Maybe he heard me ?

I'm back up and running. It was so quiet when I turned the radio on today, I had to check if my coax was actually hooked up. Hope to talk to y'all soon !
That's what it's been like around here too. Nothin but static, or the occasional discruntled truck driver.

Usually that way here also Unit 75. Especially on sideband.
Area AM traffic is on channels 20 and 30 for the most part and just for a short time in mornings, afternoon, and then for a couple of hours in the evening.
Old guys like me it seems.

I was finally able to inherit my son’s bedroom (right below my attic antennas) and was setting up all my scanners today. On a whim, I threw up a wire dipole fed with 75ohm Rg6.
Intended only for listening, but wouldn’t you know it shows a 1.5 SWR.
Now if the DX would roll a little I could check out my new ears!

I talked to a few guys in Tx. today and 1 guy in Ok. It's up and down but it wan'ts to come in.
Talked to about 40 people on 38 LSB from 9:30am to about noon today. Skip was mostly rolling in from up north of me.
