11 meter is very quiet?

Left PA south on IH81. Past 1400:

1). A fair amount on LSB-38. Came and went as to clarity.

2). Skip heavy at times on AM-19.

(My favorite BBQ stand, Exit 87 BBQ, in Jackson, TN — IH40 a little east of Memphis — coming in loud & clear near the Army War College at Carlisle, PA).

Last night?! 12:00am to 1:00am Checked a local SDR before I shut down the computer. I hear activity. Sporadic E? 38LSB. I turn on my transceiver and get OP's in southern Saskatchewan and North Dakota from my location in central Alberta. 400-600 miles. Unexpected for sure.
