11 meter is very quiet?

Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and the NE corner coming in here to NC. I have a noise level of S6, and lots of skip is riding over the top of it.

Yeah same here, lots of noise today. I turned up the power for a couple of calls and they can hear me apparently but I can't quite hear them.

Haven't had time to sit and dx but for the last 2 days the skip has been unreal. Going through OKC and the DFW, can't make a difference in locals or skip. It's active that's for sure.

Im hoping to make some AM DX contacts with my little radio. These conditions might make it happen. SSB has been a total cluster. We go from to little mother nature to way the heck to much

Check the posting & you will see that 99% of those contacts are on FT8 which is totally Useless information when it works with signals 20 db Below the noise level or more.It's a useless report for Phone/Voice contacts.
