My noise level is usually between s5 to s7 but this week it has been s1, so I have been in DX heaven here. Hope it continues, I have no idea what causes it. I live one block off the highway and I think its one of the local businesses. This is the way radio is supposed to be.

Was able to chat with 702 Jamaica today and a few hours later got ontario canada 235.
Pretty exciting for a newby at skip!
And a handful of distant states.
I often wonder if those i make contact with are members here on wwdx

I've seen 16 suggested repeatedly so those with 23 channel rigs can play too.
