11 meter is very quiet?

Haven't heard a single voice come out of my radio for three days now. And it was slim pickings for the couple weeks prior to that too. Glad I have other hobbies at times like this!
Same here, and yep life has plenty for me to do aside from hobbies. It's warm so enjoying the family and plenty to do outdoors is great. Works out until late summer once I'm sick of the heat then I'll be indoors again looking for the dx.

It's a fair balance in my situation.

This week's DX report......
Sunday: hisssssssssssssssssssssssss
Monday: hissssssssssssssssssssssss
Tuesday: hisssssssssssssssssssssssss
Wednesday: hisssssssssssssssssssss
Damn! Is that it for the next few years then?
For my location it's pretty normal until the fall when it starts creeping back in again. I do however suspect it will start to be weaker every time for another year before it's gone until the next cycle.

For my location it's very usual and that's all I have to go by.

It's been dead during the day but I hear the Pacific in the evening.
Last night I could hear Strawberry on the big island, but I could not make it back to him, then he faded out and someone from the Philippines was in there.
This morning I can hear South America on channel 5 but everything else is static....

We usually get a little of something every day even in the lean times. Aussies and Hawaii always seem to get through somehow as do various parts of California. But the last few days not even they can be heard! I had a short conversation with a local yesterday but other than that it's just hiss. I think the sun needs to become more active again; first we had too much solar activity and now there's not enough!

Dead as Dillinger up here. On the other hand, local contacts are going strong. I am blessed to have a good community here on upper sideband for the evening ragchew most of the time. Now we can gab during daytime too.

I turned my DX 2547 on about a hour ago and could hear someone talking on 38 lsb but sounded way-way off in the distance. I guess better than Hiss but nothing you could work. Oh well spring has sprung so lots to do and when I need a time out I just jump on the motorcycle and go for a Energy Drink. Boy use old buzzards have to get a cheap thrill somehow. And that's after we pop a couple Tylenol to relieve the pain. LOL
