$30.00 garage sale score!

Normally I don't do brag posts, but I managed to score this beauty of a radio at a garage sale today for 30 bucks! :w00t:

You certainly don't find these TRC-459's that often, especially in this condition. All stock, wasn't touched when I got it, original owner. I did to a TX alignment on it as it had wandered off frequency a bit, but she lined up great. Great reports on the air as well.

I remember those LOL!! That was Radio Shacks way of trying to compete with the Cobra 2000GTL and the President Madison radios!!! should bring $100.00 - $150.00 resale with manual and all. I remember those had an SWR calibrate knob or flathead srewdriver setting on the back of the chassis. Good find for tinkering with CB radio forsure.
