Ameritron ALS 500 if looking for solid state.

If not an SB200, SB220, Drake L4B or L7.

I've had very good luck with the Ameritron amplifiers. And, on the 'off' chance that you may change radios in the future, why not an AL-80? All things considered, that's about average really. 'Tickling' it with something less than 100 watts should get you an easy 200 watts and more. If you are talking about an amplifier for the house with 120/240 volts available, why not use it!

Yes the AL80 sounds like it fits the menu, and providing the input of less than 100 would about do the trick, tnx for the suggestion.

I agree on the AL80/a/b models. The 3-500zgs the only decent tube out of China.

Why don't you get a Heath SB200 or SB220 to match your lovely vintage rig?

If not, the Ameritron AL811 meets your requirements. It also uses the common, as well as cheap 811 tube.

Any one know where to find a chart on wattage input and output for this amplifier
