Like when there are no prints, and you have to tug every wire to see where it goes. Then scribble something on a piece of cardboard so you can remember what is what.........
And The Craftsman said "what are wire markers and ty-wraps?".
On one such occasion it was actually quicker to gut it and rewire the damn thing rather than troubleshoot.
Or, if it has a PLC: "the program is the prints".
Hmm. Worldwide yo-yo Forum? Went back to the "502" screen a little after midnight Mon 5/15, came back 15 minutes later.

It has been a problem for a couple days, Tim has been working on the Issue.

From the brief description I saw in another thread, it sounds like it could be a Heisenbug.
Or you didn't terminate your lines...
Just so some people know, the CMOS/MOS gating functions do not run any sort of termination.
So selection of the logic input impedance - it is set by the boards own I/O termination resistor - per line - if any is used.
Nowadays, with the proliferation of so many clones and copycats, the subjective effort to "Tune" the input and output to sync with a ringing effect to augment the clocking drivers back then in the TTL to what we use today - that art of echo and termination - seems to have been lost.
