What would be expected out of a straight 4 pill amp running 4 hg mrf421 at 14.8v, builder suggested an 80w dead key from the amp and it should have a pep of around 800w running a stryker 955 into it.
Appreciate the replies nomad and Dave.
The amp isn't mine, a friend of mine has it, and your replies are pretty much what I told him.
I just wanted a little confirmation because I'm not familiar with the 421 hg parts, or obese young man amps.
A quick goog and I saw the originals being 100w pep x4 and I don't know how the hg's compare.
I tested it and saw roughly 450w pep with a 40w radio into it.
He says the builder sent him a video of it swinging 800+w on some digital and bird meters...
