ANYTONE AT-6666 "Verses" PRESIDENT LINCOLN 2+ ?

It's been a handful of years for me and I'm looking to buy me a brand new radio for a change . (Been out of the loop for a while now) From what I have read both the Q6's & PL2+'s are decent affordable radios . Was just wondering what you guys might think ? or if one is that much better then the other ? I'm just a CB SSB kind of guy these days even on AM I just used a RK56 or stock mic on most of my older Uniden chassis radios . I heard a Q6 from about 5 miles away on SSB on it's own stock mic and I was very impressed on what I heard. I'm kind of leaning more towards the Q'6 . Thanks ! Switch

The quad 6 won't disappoint by any means, I can vouch for it. It is a talker on both Am and ssb! Imo, it's got quite an edge over the president. That's my vote.

I have the 9900 version, my brother and a friend have the 6666, all working well with no issues.

I concur with the majority here, I have the 9900 and 6666's and all have good audio and great performance in a little package.

They're a good buy from either 88 radio or Anderson radio. They seem to be quite a bit less there than others.

The quad 6 just plain works.

I have both, and I like both of them. But I prefer the Lincoln for a couple of reasons, the most important (for me) being that it shows the frequency even in channel mode. The Quad 6 is either/or.
