Anytone AT-900 Pro

I does take a guy back in time but not even nostalgia can get me on this one. Cool little rig but it doesn't have a spot in my arsenal without ssb.

I see the Dirland I once owned when I look at this new radio.

That DIrland looks just like the superstar 121 I have in the wife's car, with npc-rc and a ranger echo board that thing makes a good little bull hauler radio.

HAS ANY1 TRY THE FM SIDE, DID 26.805 POPUP OR IS IT LIKE THE PRES RANDY FM IS A COPY OF THE AM BAND??
AM & FM use the same bands! FM is just a different modulation method, as is SSB. They all use the same frequencies. By gentleman's agreement, certain modes are used on certain band segments. ie: SSB on 36 to 40 and above 40. AM on 1 to 35 and below 1. FM on 26.805 etc.

If you want to talk FM on 26.805 it is band C, Channel 23 on nearly all export type radios. I make a lot of contacts on there......hope to hear you soon!

26.805 is just outside of the "legal" cb 40 channels. If it is marketed in the USA as an FCC approved cb radio then out of the box it will not cover 26.805.

Isn't that the gray area called extra channels or I forget the other name for it.

Correct, it comes with the FCC 40 channels only, out of the box (at least the Radioddity CB-900 versions do).

It covers 24.715-30.105MHz after modification (simply moving a jumper).
