I need finals to a 2 meter radio. This 1 is very pricy too.they have lowest price. Even if its not original but fits works ok im ok with that aspect.

Bingo, that's what I would buy. How much is it worth broken? If you like the radio and plan on using it then might as well fix it with the correct final.

that 1 lots diffrent than mine. it has 3 lugs on each side and looks slimmer and longer. the number i gave shows identical replacement.
trying to hear from icom as i found a like new 4100 but want mid power at 10 watts not 15. i can get it right but need 10 watts on 1 setting

You are correct, I went with the V not the U in the part number

Is indeed a different package
RF parts has them, for $50+ship

i think im retiring it. the 4100 i will go get this weekend. plus d star and we got local d star repeater now. im calling icom again today see if hidden menu can drop power

I have been running an ICOM 4100a for several years in my pickup along with my ICOM 7000. Both perform very well & they are pretty simple to operate. I used an RT Systems cable to program the 4100a so it was very easy. I always run it on High Power since we have few repeaters here locally.

sadly i like the 2300 screen.icons not big nor little. easy to read and my eyes prefer green screens. i see the 4100 will go green also
