Carl is Original owner of the XForce Brand of Amplifiers. He sold XForce some years ago. He is now building Amps under the Brand name Carl Built. I own a few of his original Xforce Amps. No complaints from me.
Almost all the reviews i have read from people who got one had something wrong with it when they got it. And poor communication from the builder. I dont see many people if any that run those boxes.
Hopper built looks pretty clean. Someone to consider maybe.

Hoppers are clean little boxs...I run a 1x2 Hopper Built in my Tacoma....
Just wondering...wasn't Carl the one who use to stick the glob of hot glue inside his boxs when he was building the XForces?...

Hes answered my questions. No issues so far. I've seen his videos. He looks legit. I had an x force in 2001 and never had issues..
Carl built are good amps. I have had a several going back decades. He's been around and still managed to stay in business.
He seems ok. Has answered my questions with no attitude or ego and that means a ton to me.

I just purchased a 4 pill. Not home to use it but I’m impressed with how clean his soldering is.
I will say that I called Nate a few times and he was more then helpful. I really wanted one of his boxes, but didn’t like the bolt coming out of box for the ground. I prefer wire soldered to board for a cleaner look.
I am happy with my hopper straight six...have not used much but seems to run very well.
I guess to each thier own.... I'm sorry guys but I dont play the amp builder or "who's the best tech" games.
