Hi,

I am leaving for Florida Saturday afternoon, I will be setting up a permanent base station for my inlaws on Sunday or Monday and I will be there until Thursday. If anyone wants to talk I will be monitoring Ch. 13 AM. I am hoping DX will be running so I can talk back to some of the locals here in Connecticut, But I hope some of you guys will give a shout. :D

Hi everyone,

Good news! The New Avanti Astroplane copy is up and rocking. 1:1 SWR on CH.1 and 40. I DXed back to Connecticut today and talked to some locals that live near me in CTon channel 13. I have been talking local here in Florida on CH.18 hopefully I will hear some of the members on here before I leave back for Connecticut. Give a shout.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
