CP-1 Top Gun Compressor: Scam or Science?

You remind me on my wife and one of my 3 sons. They know what they like and do not like but do not ask them to explain it to you in a way that would make sense or allow one to predict future outcomes. LOL

I can kind of work with overly compressed! LOL

Since it contains electronic parts it has to be science. Tht does not mean it is what you want or that it does something that add's utility to your radio. It is though not an invisible dog or pet rock though.

Plenty of shops seem to figure out how to make them work well while some can not make them work correctly. Some like the way they sound some do not. So not a scam since it definetly changes what is going on inside the radio and what it outputs post installation! It is not just a diode and resistor in shrink wrap.

The price is super low for them as well like $9 each.

Less @ LessComm has a video of a 2517(?) that he installed an MD-1, CP-1, and SP1-a. The MD-1 was switched of course as is the SP1-a. He had no trouble getting the CP-1 and SP1-a to play nicely together with impressive results.
