D-104 >< IC-2200H....?

I gave up on this quest long ago, based mostly on what QRN just posted.
The D-104 is doing fine service on my TS-130S, and my 2 meter does just fine with the stock handheld mic. I didn't so much want a powered mic for 2 meters, I wanted a desk mic, and the D-104 was the only one I had at the time.

May I suggest you look for a Shure 444. It is non-amplified and should sound pretty good. I have used them with VHF commercial band radios and they work well.

Thanks QRN, I'll have to go mic hunting on eBay.....

I beleive Icom does offer a patch cable that goes from the ethernet type plug to a standard 8 pin, then you can run a desk mic that also has the up and down switchs to change memory channels.....

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
