Design or modify a radio...wishlist thread.

Stability of a 2950 with the audio of a galaxy , 6 digit frequency counter, SSB, a decent sounding speaker, ability to go 40 over and under cb band, and I'll agree to a remote head would be nice. All this under $400 and I need 3. Power is unimportant as I'd rather have a separate amp.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
