Hey guys got a question. Does the ground coming out of the shack need to be tied to the electric service ground to the house? Is just one ground rod with everything in the shack tied to it good enough? Thanks Tim

It will be good enough, unless something happens. The fire insurance won't pay out if the installation doesn't meet code. The national electric code says that the station ground has to be tied to the electric service ground. Exactly how to tie them together may depend on what version of code has been adopted in your area.

And after saying all that, mine are not connected yet.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
