Wow, reminds me of the old Dover Hardware store here in town. When I was a kid, my dad would take me there and we would spend hours looking at the different nuts and bolts and tools. Figuring out what was what and what the different things were used for. Not many of those places left anymore.
It's about an hour away, I might need to pay a visit.
I'd drive a couple hours out of my way to visit. I bet I could find a few things I needed and a bunch of stuff I liked. Maybe they have a few NOS PDL's and Whips. Some NOS ball mounts would please me.
Mud , funny you say Ball Mount ! I was looking for some thing else in " Archives " in my garage the other day & found mine I bought new in the 70's ! Spring was still attached !
Shade you but I have a lot & it winters quite well in a heated garage . But 50 is pushing it Just A Tad !
