Major Site / Host Outage

All,

Friday night the site suffered from an outage caused by some type of system failure with the host company. As a result, the whole site had to be restored from backup. The first attempt to restore resulted in the host putting a copy of the site as of Sept 2014, which obviously wasn't good!

It now appears that everything is back to normal as of 7/10/15. If you notice anything strange, let me know. I am going to have to schedule some downtime later this week to apply significant upgrades and patches. Thanks for all your patience the last few days!

No, I was thinking jessejamesdallas and his post when in fact there was no such evidence of Chinese, or North Korea, or whatever hacking unless you and the site owner had some private discussions on this matter that I was not privy too.

Didn't affect me at all. I was busy enjoying my domain servers being down because of an attack on my ISP.

Yeah I had PM's with Mole the other night while the site was still down. Admins could still access the site and still PM. What I was thinking about was other members seeing you state it was Chinese hackers and then spreading it on other sites that we were hacked when there was no evidence to that effect. That's all.
