It will be interesting to use this rig in CW mode, wondering if there is a set up for side tone? Rit can be locked with the transmit so if good on offset on CW then should have fun with the long range of CW!

I seriously doubt this radio will be usable on CW. All the recent export releases with CW capability have issues that make CW operation totally unusable or not worth the effort.

Really like the looks of this one for starters. Big meters and full freq count. Just hoping it isn't going to disappoint and be a turd. BTW; just how many bad marks equals the turd qualification?

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
