All assembled and ready to go up. Fabulous SWR curve. Running vertical for now. Fiberglass boom and mast. 7' LMR240 stubbed down to 75' Belden 9913f7. TV rotor will do thy turning.

I have it vertical for now. There's a group of guys that my friend talks to each night on simplex. I can hear him, but none of the others. I can only hear a little static, but I'm confident I'll be able to work them.

The way this will be tripod mounted on my house, I'll have easy access to it from a ladder on my bathroom roof. Should only take 30 minutes to swap it out to horizontal, or erect a different antenna. I've also thought about making a plate that will allow me to switch back and forth H/V. Seen a YouTube video where a dude did that with his quad.
