New President Washington Mobile Radio?

Very doubtful. Seems like most of the new mobile radios have menu buttons, and 2 maybe 3 knows. IMO, driver unfriendly.
I much prefer the knobs on my Grant XL to a menu button that one has to read to adjust things.

I'll keep my Ranger 2950, simple and easy to use and Rock solid on SSB, hardly any menu to have to fool with!

I will not buy one. I messed up and bought a welder with the new buttons and display, I don't like it, wish I had bought buttons.

I'll stick with power switch and knobs on my welders...

Loving my XL, the only menu I have is what knobs/ switch does what... 3 switches have been modified to do other than what is listed on the faceplate.

Looks like a version of the President George II (EU) for the USA market to replace the Lincoln II. After using the President George FCC I actually think this will be a nice radio. I wanted to try the George II but didn't want to drop $400 to get it sent over from Europe. The NRC on these is nice and they talk really well on SSB,

I have a George FCC in my ammo can portable and it is a great radio. Don't need more power, I am running a KL203 with it. Extra channels would be nice, but I think I am going to hold out for a 6666 Pro.

Same here. After the receive audio and mic problems my friend has had with a new Lincoln 2+ I don't think I'll be buying any new President products any time soon.......

FYI, it will share nothing with the Lincoln 2. It's a totally different (new) PCB design.

From what could see at a glance, except for two push buttons the rest were the same. I think the George II is 1.190kg and the Washington is 1.4kg.
