Yea it's rough out there today. Was good to hear another member on the air. Made a brief contact with 917 and 305 in Cali also, but that AM splatter took me out pretty quick.

Hey 128!! Ya was a short and I mean short QSO. LOL Always cool to make a contact with a member!! That AM sure makes it difficult. When you keyed up the AM station and keyed and forget about it.

No luck yet on my DX efforts on LSB 16. I was hearing 111 tie up AM 16 for a spell and have also been getting some splatter from AM 15. I am noticing that the skip fades in and out as opposed to being a bit more steady.

I tried about 5 or 6 times and there was too much splatter from 15 AM and just plain garbage.
If i am a member here is it permissible to use "wdx" as part of my daily call sign?

Made one contact through the ugly conditions today. 1600 in Idaho.
Called out a few times between 11 and noon MST today, no answer. There were a few guys having an intense discussion on AM, but it didn't sound like anything worth joining.

This is what has been making contacts on 16lsb such a crap shoot. The AM splatter from channel 6 up past 28.

Yeah, yesterday I had splatter from 15 and 17, but some dude was messing up about 5 or 6 channels worth on 13.
I made a call out about 11:00 am cst this morning and so far nothing. Will try again periodically throughout the day.
