DO not use grabbers and a bnc/cable to check freq in a radio, unless you want to screw up your alignment.

Use the oscilloscope leads testing your signals. Good scope probes have a switch on the side of the body for X1 or X10 signal levels. The X1 is 1 to 1. The X 10 position has a resistor divider the attenuates the signal level 10 to 1. If you put ten volts in you will only see one volt at the other end.
