TEXAS STAR 500 AND POWER SUPPLY

Just got a new DX500V from copper today. Attached are a few pics of the DEI’s being used. Here’s a couple of measurements all taken on the Bird 43P.

1 Watt AM input....110 output...dead key
2 Watt AM input—-150 output...dead key
3 Watt AM input....200 output...dead key. Draws 32 amps at 13.8 volts. As measured by the meter on my Astron VS70M which I calibrated to my. Bryman multimeter.
4 Watt AM input...245 output...dead key. Draws 38 amps at 13.8 volts

7.5 watts AM pep....300 output pep.

Final measurements on SSB.

17 watts pep SSB...360-375 pep output. Draws 42 to 44 amps.

If I bump SSB pep to 20-21 watts output is 400-410 watts.

The input SWR from radio to amp is flat 1.1

These measurements were taken using my IC-7300
