What is the reason for the requirement to mark the property boundary? I have never seen this before.

Tx isn't the only state to have that law.

All my boundary trees/posts/ect have the required purple stripe.

OK, Ya got me wanting to post my actual entrance.

Here are some pics taken today of the corner posts to my front 40 acres, and a second pic is my driveway, and the 3rd pic that shows the gravel driveway up to the house.

I spent over an hour hunting for the cable that goes to my camera, finally found it.

I have deer (and other critters, mainly Turkeys) that love the front acreage. The locals KNOW I will prosecute them if they shoot one of "my" deers.

Beautiful. I'm jealous. Makes me remember where I lived in Louisiana, hill country, trees, big deer, coons, bobcat, coyotes, black panthers, and black bear. Angola Penn. We didn't have the mountain lions like you have. God, I hate Southern Texas. Geographically. The people are nicer than Louisiana people. Not ass clannish. Some are though. I hear East Tenn is home to some of the most corrupt local gov't in the US. Didn't think anyone could top Louisiana.

Actually, I'm in SW Tn, right where Al Ms and Tn come together.

Lake Pickwick is just over the hill in the background. To my North is the Shiloh National Battlefield.
