Tube tester wanted

Looking to see how much for a working tube tester that will test 8950 and 6lf6 tubes. Not an immediate purchase but the next one

I have a SENCORE TC 136 Mighty Mite IV I just put new caps, some resisters and new tube in. I might sell if your interested.

Like shopping for a 40 year-old car. They come in two varieties.

Cheap, but will need to restored if what you want is a daily driver.

Or, already restored for regular use but at a higher price.

I got lucky ! Mine works , checked some tubes of mine on a friends who is a Ham Op & much smarter than me , results were the same .

No I just checked won’t do the 8950 tube.

Any tester that can check a 6KD6 tube can test a 8950.

Use all the same setup for 6KD6 *BUT* the heater voltage. Set it for 13 Volts, or if you can't then use 12.6.

Only real difference between the two types is the heater voltage.
