What software do you use regularly?

It may not be SWR problems per se, but when I apply lotsa watts, the devices tend to un plug and play themselves with the characteristic "ba donk" on the speakers as the disconnect is made.

SWR will aggravate common mode currents, but a good shunt system will greatly minimize their influence.

All of my coax runs have their shields grounded at the tower where they pass through a grounded bulkhead buss bar. Then before they come into the shack there is another buss bar where the PolyPhasers are mounted. The shack buss bar goes to that buss bar and the ground systems of the shack and tower are connected to each other as well as the AC entrance ground is connected to the shack system (per NFPA NEC).

Since doing all of that, such issues as losing USB connections have all but disappeared. It's an art as much as a technical process.

I like dx summit for a cluster. I also frequent the mountain lake k12 site for close to "real time" changes in vhf-uhf band enhancement and the Hepburn site for long range forecasts. As for logging I'm still an old school pen and paper guy..

Differentiating between the letter "K" and the letter "g" or "th" and "f" at a great distance. Maximizing intelligibility without compromising efficiency should always be the name of the game if you're going to take people's money and charge them for your services. Technicians with Integrity anyway.
Last I checked intelligibility wasn't useless when trying to communicate.

Trying to register at qrzcq.com but keep getting this error message concerning my Email: "Messages sent to this address were rejected in the past."

I have had this Email for years with no problem and use it daily.
I have reported the problem to them twice but no one ever responds. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks,
Jim
