ALEJANDRIA, COLOMBIA SA
The market for used CBs and associated equipment is getting stronger here in Colombia. Ever since the government removed the required written test for a CB license, CB has been gaining popularity, especially with over-the-road semi-truck drivers and people (like us) who live in very remote areas of the country. The women in our area even have there own "gossip" channel (18) and there are 20+ stations and more coming on every day. Surprisingly, there are a lot of old CBs gathering dust in garages and closets here, and I see many of these coming into my shop for alignment and repair. I am being constantly asked if I have any CBs for sale. As such, I have been buying the bulk CBs listed on Ebay. Lately CB listings on Ebay have dropped off dramatically. Where are people listing their CB stuff for sale now ?? Anyone ???

I used to look around craiglists and facebook marketplace, but even then its a hit and miss every time. Sometimes it can be like pulling teeth trying to get a response on a listing, only to get told "it sold" days later.

399 out here single handedly bringing back CB radio in Colombia.

It's really good to hear that you are so busy with repair work and even better to hear that there is an actual CB community forming down there!

To answer your question i think shopgoodwill.com always has some old CB radios for sale/auction.

take it easy and as always i hope to hear you on the air soon!

This guy is trying to unload a large collection: brenton@posnav.com.au

It might take him a while to answer, unspecified health stuff. If you know what you want he'll probably answer faster. Search for Brenton Meadows on YouTube and go through his videos to get an idea of just how much stuff he has.

eBay is huge for CBs and related equipment. They must sell 50 CBs a day.

I still live in Southeast Ohio. Oddly enough, CB radio is still rather popular. Mostly just us older dudes, but there's a good bit of younger guys. Lot's of Marketplace ads for CB/ham crap. Friend of mine is the local swammy of used CB/ham equipment. He travels all around buying and selling his whares, lol.

I haven't been in the market for much of anything, so haven't been on Fleabay. I'm looking to buy a used truck soon, so I need to slap something in it. Since I've been out of the loop for the past few years-I'm hoping there's a decent Export rig out there.

I do occasionally look through E-Bay or Marketplace mainly just to see whats out there. I had to smile when a local to me listing came up as I've never seen anything like it before. To be clear, this is a real listing and they are serious about the price. https://www.facebook.com/share/18sQeNiLa6/
Quite simply, Holy Crap Batman what a stash.
A quick look
Galaxy Plutos , multiple other early Galaxy radios, several AR 3500, hundreds of base stations, 100's of mobiles solid state amps, microphones, D104's ,that minty looking Varmit 5k has a CPI base sitting on top of it.

Ahh nice old memories stuff there.
