Years ago I had a pair of snap ring pliers that worked well for those nuts on radios.

This reminds me of hunting for a ceramic driver. Pro'sKit made a pretty nice one and you could get it at Newark, I believe that's Element something now. But now you can't find a good one, I can find the ones that just spin in the damn handle.

thats a doohicky tool used to adjust the thingamajigger mounted on the gizmo that runs the doodlewobbler that processes the fine tune on the whackerbill

As I suggested before, and someone else suggested afterwards, snap ring plires work just fine, as shown on my Baofeng antenna nut in the picture.... plus you'll have a set to use on other things as well.....

Copper is real soft, not sure the tabs would be strong enough to tighten without sheering off.
We used to make copper gaskets in steam service at the plant and it softer that you would think.

those nuts are soft too.id say 5 footpounds be sufficient
