Would like to see some pictures of your pet's.

"they move the rig near Belmont , LA. We've been working in Coushatta LA. Got to experience my first earthquake there. Strange sensation when the ground starts shaking you and everything around you"

OK, you are working up north west from here.
In "Redneck Louisiana" as it is known.

I am way down near Thibodaux in "Cajun Country"
We get the breeze from The Gulf of America/Mexico.

but I am not from here, and "sound funny" to everyone.
I usually get asked "where are you from?" Different accents
of English around the state. Different foods.
And a variation of French around here.

and some of us here in WWDX were recently posting
about early life in Los Angeles where "I am from"
We never mentioned the earthquakes there.
Back when I was about 12 and we lived "in the valley"
part of L.A. and they had that big earthquake. The cinder block
walls all fell down around our house. My toys flying off
the shelves. I was scared scared. we kept having after shocks.
got the nickname "Shakey Town" by the CBers. (Sylmar?)

I love animals, was just wondering what kind of pet's y'all have. I haven't bought an animal in 25 years, they either just show up or my kids would bring them home especially my daughter because she knows I'm a sucker. I even had a stray horse show up about 6 years ago. Lol

View attachment 35384 Marley, had to have her put to sleep in February, (skin cancer) then lost my house cat of 18 years a week and a half later.

View attachment 35390 Pearl, my outside cat that likes to sneak in and be an inside cat.

She got a little cold at the lake.
View attachment 35392 Piggy Sue, she's the boss hog.View attachment 35393 Big Ed, he's a big wuss, does whatever Piggy Sue wants him to. Kinda like me and my wife. :)

That's it for now, not ready for another dog just yet but when I am ready, I'll probably get another Rottweiler had one years ago, best watchdog I ever had.
Why do you use an apostrophe when talking about more than one pet, but don't when talking about more than one animal or kid?

Because spelling and math were not and still aren't my strong point. I can't spell or use punctuation very well but if you need a fench built or something that requires working with your hands im pretty adequate. My father in law was one of the most book smart person I'd ever met. But if he needed a door installed or a new water faucet my mother inlaw always called me. And yes I had to Google how to spell faucet. Lol.
