The extended transmit mod for the Yaesu FT-100D is attached. New frequency range:

RX: 30KHz-824MHz, 849MHz-859MHz, 894MHz-961MHz.
TX: 1.8MHz-30MHz, 50MHz-54MHz, 140MHz-174MHz, 420MHz-470MHz.

Enjoy!

The one I cant figure out is it wont transmit on GMRS frequencies. Mod says 420 to 470 I think it was but the display flashes "off" when I try and grab a repeater up there. And I can find nothing on the web about it...

this is one strange mod.
My all-time favorite odd-mod was the Yaesu FT-747. You soldered across two solder pads on the computer pc board, power it back up then dial up "12.3456 MHz". Then turn it off, remove the solder jumper and you're in.

Too much like a Masonic-lodge handshake.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
