My son sent me a pic of a box for me..

Apparently my ex-wife uncle who was a extra class ham (who passed away 11 years ago) had this setup at some point..

I see the radio, swr meter, and I can assume an antenna tuner underneath.. and a key..

He was the person that talked to me back in 98 or so that I should get my license.. I never did till 2016..

Going to start learning CW and now I have a key..

Not a bad little rig in their day...in some cases you may find it better than the Alinco...

That Dentron Super Tuner...much better built that the MFJ , I think you have also, and would be great to use with Ladder line or good 300 ohm line on that Dipole rather than feeding it with coax. IMHO

Had one of those not long ago as a bench radio purchased it off eBay fixed numerous little issues with it and then sold it. But it was a nice radio after getting back to working order. They had some issues with diodes I replaced 12 in mine but it made a big difference in how it functioned as they were intermittent. I purchased about 50 of those diodes when I thought I was going to keep it so now I have them if one comes in for repairs. I think you will like the rig.
