I just ordered a Stryker 497hpc. I've heard alot of good things about them and watched a few video's. I am curious about switching it over to the AM band so it can be used as a cb. Is it hard to convert it ? Is it something I can do myself or should I do the 95 mile ride to a cb shop and let them convert it ? Any info will be helpful. Thanks.

Hello, By chance do you still have a copy of the Washington 385 board Manual that Robb emailed to you a long time ago ? I saw that you guys were corresponding in a post back in 2016 and thought it was worth a shot. I cant find one anywhere.

I think it should with out any problems if I use the retaining parts that come with it.

Maybe you can help me I need to swap out the 5 pin mic receptacle on a trc 431 radio to a four pin receptacle first I need to know if it can be done and then hopefully a diagram of the rewiring The one that is in that radio now has come free and really has no retainer other than glued plastic .

I have a PDX 400 I saw you knew a way to get them to use 24LQ6 tubes??? Could you help me do that to mine??? Tell me how you converted the D & A amps to work with them???

I built a 2000 brand new.. I put in FM and a Amp inside the main cabinet with a power suply in one of the speakers and an Octal plug between one speaker and the radio... Lots of channels also!!!

We go on 23,28 alot.we are out of Pahrump Nevada. "Rick944 or "Lady Di out of so.nev." if you here us,waive (1/2hour from Vegas) we get alot of South East area mostly Tn. Al. FL. Ga. Illinois, on the skip. Michigan and Maine couple times.73 bro.
