LSB 38 has been hopping all afternoon. The folks in Trinidad and Barbados were booming in again. But my barefoot, marine-based, SSB walkie mobile hooked up to my 1/4 wave dipole made contact with Missouri, Virginia, Ohio and a few others. When I got home, Pennsylvania and Ohio stations were ruling the roost.
The skip is still pretty strong at this time. We haven't had back to back skip days like this in a while.

Speculation: there are those cities and regions of the same sorta size where a number of characters drown out normal TX.
So, personality as attractant (minor irritant, spoken to; ramps up participation).
America is bored (childish). That which relieves boredom is part of the TV culture we have. TV is never satisfying. It’s like eating pink cotton candy without cease (or stomach upset) in hopes of spiritual & intellectual sustainment.
Crap TX comes over the same way.

Fairly good DX here Tuesday afternoon. Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas.
Could here alot, but unable to raise the dead. Phoenix was there all afternoon. They were too busy talking to listen I guess. Those guys are using vox microphones. Sound real good. Usually let me know I've made it. Only tried a few times calling.
Could here 2600 central Florida and 189 Chicago. Couldn't reach either. Lots of traffic.
