Anytone is prying hard into the Galaxy market share with the AT-900 Pro. Or maybe they are targeting the Cobra 29? Unfortunately it doesn't have SSB... So presumably it can be an AM monster?

I haven't heard anything around here on AM in a long time so you wouldn't have to fight for a empty channel. Consider yourself lucky if you can rag chew with the locals. ( won't cost you much )

I don't think this radio has the requirements for my base but it looks like it could be a great big rig radio. Judging by the amount of controls on the front, maybe it's built on the q6 chassis sort of like the 447hpc2.

Sadly no sideband... But for $150 this will put the squeeze on the Cobra 29 for sure. Maybe it has an export mode with more power? I want to see one with an RFX95 on the back.

Not unless you can buy them with fuel points. In the truck driving world Cobra Connex and Galaxy are the names that are asked for. After that it is Stryker President then Magnum and Anytone bringing up the rear.

I does take a guy back in time but not even nostalgia can get me on this one. Cool little rig but it doesn't have a spot in my arsenal without ssb.

I see the Dirland I once owned when I look at this new radio.
