Kenrich Eagle 500-Next Patient

Ha guys Thanks for the info and the help.Learned a lot from this post. I have updated the doides and replaced caps.Also the filament mod. added the risistor to the keying circuit.Much happier machine.Someone had put in 26lx6 for the two driver tubes.Onlything left is todo is find the needle in the haystack.Newer tubes. Had bought three lindel 20lf6 tubes put them in and they made noise when keyed. so i am running the Kenrich tubes. Million dollar question...Anybody know where i might find some.Thank you Nomad for your help and answering questions

best of luck finding enough 20LF6's these days.

if you can't find them, one option is to get a high current 6 volt transformer and use it for the filaments so you can run 6LF6's.

The 26LX6 is probably okay for the driver. For my money the 30KD6 is the best choice. Finding sweep tubes is like finding original dealer parts for a 50 year-old car. They haven't all gone to the dump, but as every year goes by you have to turn over more rocks to find what you need.
