I am using a IMAX 2000 for 10M and a Cobra Ultralite wire antenna for the rest. I have a PS 125 and SP 23 coming this week to finish it off. I run a Heil PR 20 with shock mount and Boom. I am playing with the radio now and love it.

Well, after a long wait my 756 PRO II will be here today. I just got down from the roof with a antenna analyzer and got my antennas tunes. Man, I'm so excited. YAHHHHHHHHH

When 10 meters is open, it is a great band but, it has not been open in awhile. About a month or so ago, it opened for about a week and I made about 45-50 contacts in the US. Now all I do is check into the weekly 10 meter net here locally.

I have a Autek WM-1 meter and love it. There is one for sale on QTH.com now for $100.00. I think I may have paid less for mine, can't remember. Anyway it takes a 12 power supply also to run. Good luck with what ever you decide to do.

If he contacts ARRL, they should be able to help your friend out. If not he will have to find a club or maybe if he knows someone that is a HAM already, they could ask someone on the radio that lives in Switzerland.
