Hi everyone, I have a Yaesu FT-757GXII which has it's CAT cable , and a Yaesu FT-897d that doesn't have a CAT cable . What I'm wondering is will the FT-757's CAT cable match up , and work with the FT-897d , or do they each have their own CAT cable specific to the model...

Ok , well I have a D104 Silver Eagle , and a Turner 254 that I can use with it . The Silver Eagle is already wired up to it , but I was wondering which one would be a better match up for the 757GX II .

I understand that , but doesn't the radio have a pin in it that should be already supplying power to the MD-100 , like they do with the stock mics ... and shouldn't the cord I bought already be wired properly between the radio and the mic so that they match up and work together ?
